A bio-mapping project from artist Christian Nold, as part of Stream's Peninsula programme, in collaboration with Greenwich Peninsula residents.
Residents took walks across the Peninsula using a GPS device invented by the artist, which measures the wearer's Galvanic Skin Response, an indicator of emotional arousal. The resulting data, personal interpretations and reflections on the walks were mapped onto the Peninsula and printed as an ordinance survey style map.
The map encourages personal reflection on the relationship between self, the environment and each other. It has been distributed widely across Greenwich and both nationally and internationally.
