A project involving young people from Greenwich Youth Area Forum working in collaboration with filmmaker Susanna Wallin, with the support of First Light Films, to create a film about their experiences and environment.

The resulting film shows how a group of young people explore the landscape of the Greenwich Peninsula and dream about escape and freedom. They come together for a journey down the river that goes beyond the map and to wherever their imagination will take them.

The project gave young people experience of working with an artist filmmaker to produce a unique and experimental film.

The Distance From Here will be presented in a local cinema.
